I worked late tonight and didn't get to sing to the kids and tuck them in bed. I was sad and knew that they would be too. So I called them. Zildy said that they were already in bed, but weren't quit asleep yet. It's was 9:20pm and our goal is to have them in bed by 8pm, so I knew I wouldn't have time to have a lengthy chat with them. So, I spoke to each of them and told them how much I love them. Jasmine made me a mayonnaise sandwich for lunch today and was proud that she did it all by herself and didn't spill. I thanked her sooooooooooo much for doing such a sweet thing. Shayden said he had been coughing. So I told him that I would give him a blessing when I got home. I reminded him that if when I gave him a blessing he in the morning felt better, that he would remember to thank Heavenly Father like in the story about the 10 men that were healed by Jesus. He said, "I will Dad"
Zildy made me feel so loved tonight. She mentioned several time how much she loved me and how muched she missed me today. How blessed I am to have such an amazing wife, friend, and eternal companion.
Sorry this is a short one today. Gotta get some sleep.
